Είναι φαινόμενο των καιρών, οι σχεδιαστές μόδας να βάζουν το όνομά τους στα πάντα, από γυαλιά ηλίου μέχρι και αρώματα, αλλά τώρα πηγαίνουν ένα βήμα παρακάτω, με πολλούς εξ αυτών να προσπαθούν να βάλουν την υπογραφή τους και στην διακόσμηση ξενοδοχείων.

Ο Diane von Furstenberg και ο Ralph Lauren ήδη έχουν αφήσει το στίγμα τους σε αριστοκρατικά δωμάτια σε όλο τον κόσμο.

Με τον τρόπο αυτό, τα παραδοσιακά μπεζ και λευκά δωμάτια παίρνουν ζωή με ζωντανά χρώματα και πολυτελή υφάσματα.

Hotel Missoni opened  in Edinburgh in 2010, with the family designing everything from the bedlinen to the napkins in the restaurant

The building is Armani's second foray into luxury accommodation

His first in Dubai was opened in 2010 in the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa.

Moschino's old creative director, Rossella Jardini designed the interiors of Hotel Maison Moschino in 2011

Diane von Furstenberg's One & Only Hayman Island Suite, Australia, is her second foray into hotel interior design 

The two-bedroom suite is designed with DVF signature fabrics  

Vera Wang, Ξενοδοχείο Halekulani, Χαβάη

Vera Wang's suite at the Halekulani Hotel in Hawaii uses items from the designer's specialty home, gift, bath and accessories collections

The suite has views of the island’s famous Diamond Head and the Pacific. 

Vera Wang jumped at the chance to design the room as Hawaii is a special place for her as her husband proposed there almost 25 years ago

The Dior Suite at the St Regis Hotel in New York is inspired by the fashion house’s ateliers in Paris
