Η νέα «Wonder Woman» που ξεκίνησε ως «Μις Ισραήλ»

Μετά τον ρόλο της στο «Fast & Furious», o οποίος την έκανε παγκόσμια γνωστή, η ηθοποιός και πρώην Μις Ισραήλ, Γκαλ Γκαντό, είναι έτοιμη να εντυπωσιάσει στην ταινία «Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice».

Κατάγεται από το Ισραήλ. Σε ηλικία 19 ετών πήγε στον διαγωνισμό ομορφιάς για την «Μις Ισραήλ». Αφού κέρδισε, δοκίμασε την τύχη της στα «Μiss Universe», χωρίς να καταφέρει να μπει στην 15αδα.

Στη συνέχεια κατατάχθηκε στις Ισραηλινές αμυντικές δυνάμεις, όπου για δυο ολόκληρα χρόνια υπηρέτησε ως… κομάντο του Ισραηλινού στρατού με την εκπαίδευση της να είναι πολύ σκληρή.

Growing up, Gadot wanted to be a choreographer before switching her sights to law, but her plans changed after she met a pageant scout.

Παράλληλα, σπούδαζε Νομική στο Πανεπιστήμιο, ενώ έδινε το «παρών» σε διάφορες οντισιόν.

Μια απ΄αυτές ήταν και για την ταινία «Quantum of Solace» για να υποδυθεί το κορίτσι του «James Bond», «Camille Montes», χωρίς ωστόσο να κερδίσει τον ρόλο.

She said she rebelled while at the Miss Universe pageant by showing up late and not coming prepared.

Και μπορεί ως «Bond Girl» να μην την είδαμε ποτέ, αλλά την είδαμε ως «Ζιζέλ» στην ταινία «The Fast and the Furious», απ΄όπου έγινε ευρέως γνωστή.

After she participated in the pageant, she left to serve two years in the Israeli army, which is required of all Israelis. She was a fitness trainer. Afterward, she began studying law at university.

Η 30χρονη σταρ διαθέτει μεγάλου κυβισμού μηχανή, ενώ στον ελεύθερο χρόνο της παίζει βόλεϊ, μπάσκετ και τένις.

While she was in school, a casting director for "Quantum of Solace" saw her modeling card and reached out to her for an audition. The part ultimately went to Olga Kurylenko.

She ended up landing her first acting gig on an Israeli TV show, "Bubot," and left university.

Her Hollywood career started after she was cast as Gisele in "Fast & Furious," whose casting director was the same from "Quantum of Solace." She reprised the role three more times. Her final appearance was in "Furious 7."
